Hank Chambers, MD Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon, Rady Children’s Hospital

Hank Chambers, MD, is a pediatric orthopedic surgeon at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego. He also serves as a Professor of Clinical Orthopedic Surgery at the University of California at San Diego. Dr. Chambers is currently the David Sutherland Director of Cerebral Palsy Research at Rady Children’s Hospital and serves as the director of the Motion Analysis Laboratory and the 360 Sports Medicine Program. He is active nationally in many organizations including the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the Pediatric Orthopedic Society of North America, and the American Academy of Pediatrics.


Phoebe Scott-Wyard, D.O. Rehabilitation Medicine Specialist at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego and Assistant Professor at UC San Diego School of Medicine

Dr. Phoebe Scott-Wyard is double board-certified in pediatrics and physical medicine and rehabilitation. Originally from Maine, Dr. Scott-Wyard completed her undergraduate degree in behavioral biology at Johns Hopkins University before attending medical school at Western University of Health Sciences in Southern California. She completed a combined residency in pediatrics and physical medicine and rehabilitation at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center and University of Cincinnati. She served two years as a Peace Corps volunteer in Ecuador and is fluent in Spanish.


Kyle Ryan, MD Director of the Adult Spasticity Rehabilitation Program of the Southern Family Cerebral Palsy Center

Kyle Ryan, MD, is an adult physiatrist specializing in non-operative spasticity management in patients with cerebral palsy and other neuromuscular conditions. He joins the rehabilitation team at Rady Children’s Hospital San Diego in 2020 after recently completing a fellowship in Comprehensive Spasticity Management and Neurorehabilitation at the Medical College of Wisconsin.


Carolina Schaber, R.N., B.S.N., M.B.A. Care Team Coordinator, Rady Children’ Surgical Specialty Clinic Orthopedic Team

Carolina joined the Rady Children’ Surgical Specialty Clinic Orthopedic team in January 2006 as the care team coordinator for Dr. Henry Chambers. She has more than 20 years of clinical and business experience. She earned her bachelor’s in nursing from CSU Fresno, and after completing her nursing degree, she spent the next seven years in the pediatric critical care setting. Carolina earned a master’s of business administration degree from the University of San Diego.
