Children with cerebral palsy (CP) can have a wide range of vision problems—from mild to severe. These can include issues with the eyes, eye movements, basic visual function, and how the brain processes visual information. In general, children with more severe motor difficulties also tend to have more significant visual impairments. Research has also shown that different types of CP are linked with different patterns of vision problems.

1 in 10 individuals with Cerebral Palsy has severe vision impairment.
