Finding and Keeping Great Personal Care Attendants

Individuals with cerebral palsy and their families often rely on personal care attendants (PCAs) who help with everything from essential activities of daily living to social or recreational pursuits and even employment.   Often finding and keeping personal care attendants who are a good fit for you and your family can be difficult. To help you in this process, we are providing sample job descriptions and employment contracts that you may use as a guide for your own needs.

Sample Job Descriptions

Hiring a personal care attendant for yourself or a loved one can be challenging. A comprehensive job description can help make this process a little easier. We have included three sample job descriptions. They are each written a little differently and can be modified to meet different needs. We hope that the content contained will help you create the perfect job description for your needs.
