CPF Executive Director Rachel Byrne and physical therapist, Jennifer Jezequel, discuss exercise and physical fitness for children with Cerebral Palsy.
“I think for young adults, adolescents and adults alike, I think you can consider maybe arranging a virtual session or a date with a friend so that you actually engage in physical activity together. I think this could be motivating and fun, but also a level of accountability. I think if you set up to meet someone at 6:00 PM on a Wednesday, hopefully you can hold each other accountable to that. I think that can go a long way as well.”
