That Mom with CP

Welcome to "That Mom with CP"

This is a space for all the moms who move through the world a little differently. For the ones who wonder if they’re the only ones googling “babywearing tips with poor balance” or “how to co-sleep safely when your body doesn’t cooperate.” This blog is for us — for the quiet questions, the hard days, and the beautiful moments no one sees.

What I’ve Learned So Far

Since becoming a mom, I’ve learned a few big things:

Your way is the right way.
Even if it looks nothing like anyone else’s.
You can ask for help without losing your strength.
Support is part of parenting — not a weakness.
Disabled motherhood is not a contradiction.
It’s a version of motherhood that deserves to be seen, heard, and honored.

So, what can you expect from this blog?

Real-life stories of parenting with CP (the wins and the wipeouts)
Adaptive tips and resources for disabled parents
Honest reflections on identity, disability, and motherhood
A safe, affirming space where you’re not the only one

Enjoy!

Motherhood with cerebral palsy is different, yes. But it is also rich, powerful, and worth celebrating.
