Episode 14: Cerebral Palsy Research Advocacy with Cynthia Frisina

About this Episode

In this episode, guest and CPF Senior VP of Strategic Partnerships and Advocacy, Cynthia Frisina, gives us a behind the scenes look at how Cerebral Palsy Awareness Day and Month came to be and what exactly it means!  She helps us understand the importance of advocacy and the exciting possibilities for cerebral palsy advocacy moving forward with the help of parents, individuals with CP, and community members.

We should look at advocacy as an investment because that is the mechanism through which change will happen, meaning the quality of life for those who have CP will be improved. Future cases may be prevented, some cases may be able to be cured.
