Adults with cerebral palsy are invited to participate in an online research study:
Title: Exploring The Intersection Between Adults with Spastic Cerebral Palsy and Symptoms of Stress, Anxiety, and Trauma
Purpose: The specific aim of this study is to investigate and identify correlations in the lived experience of spastic CP, and symptoms of stress, anxiety, and trauma. Adults with spastic CP will be surveyed to learn about their unique and subjective experiences of physical and psychological symptoms and their attempts at treatment. This data about individual experiences is the necessary foundation upon which the information from medical professionals and licensed mental health professionals must scaffold.
Who can qualify?
- You are 18 years or older
- You have an official diagnosis of spastic cerebral palsy
- You have experienced and/or currently are experiencing symptoms of stress, anxiety, and/or trauma
- You are able/willing to electronically sign informed consent
