WE ARE WORKING TO IMPROVE INCLUSION OF STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES
The Cerebral Palsy Foundation (CPF) launched CPF’s “Just Say Hi” campaign in the schools in 2016 focused on furthering the inclusion of students with disabilities in schools. The program uses CPF’s “Just Say Hi” campaign as an innovative starting point for creating discussions about inclusion and for developing effective approaches to creating an inclusive and effective learning environment.
Creating inclusive school cultures is a complex, multi- disciplinary challenge. Our Just Say Hi materials support school administration and teachers in developing truly inclusive classrooms, and encouraging the larger school community to consider disability as a critical aspect of diversity. The resources are available on an online platform and include a Cross Curriculum Resource, Professional Learning Supplement, video resources, posters and fliers, parent communication and lesson plans.
