Dr. Verena M. Schreiber is an Associate professor with the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. She specializes in caring for children with neuromuscular disorders, including cerebral palsy, as well as those who have experienced orthopaedic injuries and trauma.
In her clinical role she feels privileged to support children and their families during times when they need care, guidance and reassurance the most. Beyond her clinical practice, she is passionate about teaching and mentoring the next generation of surgeons.
She enjoys contributing to research and has published studies, written textbook chapters and presented at national and international meetings. She serves on committees in professional organizations such as the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America, the American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, working to improve education, communication and care standards for children worldwide.
