Lane Wimberly, M.D. is a full-time pediatric orthopedic surgeon, the orthopedic director of the cerebral palsy program, and the Medical Director of Movement Science at Scottish Rite for Children. He has the unique opportunity to practice medicine in a busy clinical environment with support for research and education. In addition to a general practice, he subspecializes in the orthopedic treatment of 2 specific pediatric populations: patients with cerebral palsy and patients with acquired or congenital limb deformities. He also provides orthopedic trauma coverage at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas. Dr. Wimberly graduated from The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD and received his medical degree from Baylor University College of Medicine in Houston, TX. He completed his internship in general surgery and residency in orthopedic surgery at Georgetown University Hospital, Washington, D.C. Dr. Wimberly also completed a fellowship in pediatric orthopedic surgery at Scottish Rite for Children in Dallas, TX.
